Hosted by Free Speech America, this Fourth of July celebration includes food trucks, inflatables, face painting, balloon creations, live music by Nebraska Showdown, and a spectacular firework show for the grand finale! 

City of Avoca Firework Display

July 3 | 8:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.

Watch the sky light up with fireworks in Avoca right after dusk! The fireworks will be visible from the CountryView Clubhouse, Edgington Memorial Park, and many places throughout the community.

Independence Day Free Community Event

Historic General Dodge House
July 3 | 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Enjoy a cookout, amazing old-time music by Flatwater Drifters, a reading of the Declaration of Independence, and so much more at the Historic General Dodge House in Council Bluffs!

Oakland Independence Day Celebration

Oakland is going all out for the Fourth of July! The festivities include a golf tournament, pancake breakfast, car show, live music, bbq showcase, kickball tournament, a parade, a pie-eating contest, fireworks, and more.
