This program will be taught by butterfly enthusiast Jason Andersen, Wildlife Biologist with Pheasants Forever. It begins with an informative classroom presentation on what species are currently active, how to identify them, and helpful tips on the habitats in which various species can be found. Then, we embark on an adventure out into the Loess Hills to find our local butterflies! Please bring binoculars if you have them; we will also have some pairs of close focus insect binoculars to check out on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration is required, ages 14 and up, please. For more information call 712-545-3283

Cancellation Policy: Guests may cancel their reservation for a full refund up to 1 week (7 days) prior to the program date by calling 712-545-3283 and speaking with staff directly. Cancellations received less than 1 week (7 days) in advance of the event will not be refunded. Fees for programs canceled by PCC due to weather or other circumstances will be refunded.
