Join us as we kick off our 2022 season of "A Land Ethic Workshop." This free, introductory program will be held at Hitchcock Nature Center and is perfect for anyone with an interest in conservation & a desire to develop a better understanding of the natural world outside their own front door. Join us and celebrated educator Ron Cisar as we introduce participants to this 10-month long programming series. Participants in this introductory session will study & learn:

- How one oak affects the biological community & reveals secrets of the past
- The ecological significance of Iowa's Loess Hills landform
- The biographical history of Iowa's own Aldo Leopold & his "Land Ethic"

This program is free for all attendees & is intended for participants age 14 & over with an interest in the natural world, no experience or prior knowledge is required to participate.
