Are you curious about conservation and interested in becoming a knowledgeable natural resource leader in your community? Then join us on April 23rd at Hitchcock Nature Center for the Master Conservationist Program hosted by Iowa State Univerity Extension and Outreach!
Course format: This program consists of online, self-paced lessons from Iowa State University experts paired with in-person demonstrations and discussions led by local conservation leaders and educators. Course topics will include History and current opportunities for conservation in Iowa, Iowa's landform, forests, prairies, wetlands, and rivers, and communicating conservation
When: One Saturday a month from April through September. This is the first class.
Where: The first class is at Hitchcock Nature Center. Other class locations will vary depending on the topic.
